I ran across this informative video this morning on the CRE Expert, and I have to admit, Partner ESI does a REALLY nice job explaining the Property Condition Assessment (PCA). This video obviously took some time (and money) to produce, but the results are impressive. If you deal with real estate due diligence in any capacity, this video is definitely worth a look.

As a real estate due diligence professional who relies heavily on regional subcontracting opportunities, it seems painfully relevant. That said, its a must read for EP contractors and managers alike.

Andrew Revkin of the New York Times provides a quick glimpse into the landscape of the post-bubble real estate market in Idaho. As I'm sure most are aware, the abandonment of real estate projects is not at all limited to the state of Idaho, but rather a plight that the entire country is currently facing. Anyone interested in purchasing your very own half-finished ski-chalet?
